Ten-year-old twins Maddie and Mia and their younger sister, Lulu, travel with their dad and famous mom, Gloria Glimmer, to London, where Gloria is putting on a few concerts. During their stay, they get to see the sights, including the National Gallery, to which Maddie is drawn due to her quieter, artistic bent. While there, Maddie and Mia see what they believe is the theft of a Renoir painting. When no one believes them, Maddie sneaks out of the hotel one afternoon to catch the thief. Blending travelogue, mystery, and family story, this novel from Christian recording artist Grant has pedantic overtones, particularly in the interactions between Maddie and her mom, that may turn off some readers. Still, the story will find a home with many conservative Christians and fans of Grant’s music.     Naomi Kinsman is the author of Spilled Ink (winner of the 2009 Moonbeam Gold Medal for Educational/Activity book) as well as the From Sadie’s Sketchbook series (Zondervan). Her newest books, the Glimmer Girls series (Zondervan), are collaboratively written with Grammy nominated artist, Natalie Grant.

    As founder of the Society of Young Inklings, Naomi shares her passion for writing and creativity with young people across the country. SYI offers classes, mentorships and publishing programs all with the aim of empowering young authors to discover and share their unique voices. Naomi developed Writerly Play, the improv based methodology on which SYI's classes are based, and recently published a book about the approach. Naomi’s background in improvisational and story theatre as well as her arts education work in Chicago, Portland and the Bay Area has convinced her that creative play is a doorway through which learners can find inspiration and transformative learning experiences.

    Naomi has a BA in Theatre Arts from Seattle Pacific University, has studied theatre with the Piven Theatre Workshop and American Conservatory Theatre, and has an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Hamline University. She is the Regional Advisor for the San Francisco South chapter of SCBWI.

In the first book in there series called "London Art Chase", is about the adventures of the 3 sisters who are in London with there parents and nanny. The girls and family enjoy beautiful London sight seeing and so much fun and adventure. While taking a trip to the art gallery called "National Gallery of Art" Maddie see a man take a art painting off the wall, that Maddie was very fond of.The girls cause a commotion because they were chasing the man in the museum, the girls even had there nanny chasing after him who had no idea, why she was chasing after this man. The girls were able to tell the museum director that a man stole a painting off the wall that why it was such a big commotion, but no one believed maddie, not the director, Miss Julia, her parents and not even Mia.
