I really enjoy reading books with good artwork to my children, and this is just such a mesmerizing one. It is such a subtly beautiful opposites book, you almost don't realize it because you are so absorbed in the journey of the girl in the story. The colored pencil in here is so lively and there are so many details within. Just a joy to read together.

At first glance, this book is a simple collection of opposites, but as you read you realize it's so much more. It's a complex, lyrical circle of life story with stunning illustrations that will have you re reading it to find new nuggets in every line.
