Purchase options and add-ons
Christmas is coming to Dinosaur Town, and Ollie, Molly, and Milo are writing their letters to Santasaurus. Ollie wishes for a dinobot. Molly asks for a dinocycle. All Milo wants is to meet Santasaurus and fly in his sleigh. Later there's Christmas shopping with Momosaurus — "What hustle and bustle and squoosh!" — and plenty of wrapping and decorating on Christmas Eve. But when nighttime comes, will Santasaurus make Ollie's, Molly's, and Milo's wishes come true?

- Reviewed in the United States on December 28, 2016My 2 years old is OBSESSED with dinosaurs so with the holidays coming up running across this book was a score. It was given to him by his elf on the shelf and he was so excited. I can recite this book by memory now and we are only a couple days post the Christmas!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 14, 2016I bought this near Christmas to read to my grandsons. They have me read it all the time. They love dinosaurs.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2017Fun little story. Great for kids who like dinasours.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 24, 2013I bought this book for my nephews as a Christmas present this year along with some dinosaur stuffed animals. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase.
As far as the book's content goes: Amazon's range of 3 - 7 years seems a little high in my opinion. It's not really a good book for the kids to read to themselves since (I feel) it requires a great deal of tone and emphasis to properly tell the story. It's very simple and short but the brevity is perfect for the 3 - 5 range. The word selection is adorable and other family members I showed the book to all loved the "dinodeer" in place of reindeer.
I was greatly disappointed in the quality of the actual book. The laminate on the cover was peeling off when I opened the package and I specifically ordered a brand new book to avoid that. I can't say how it holds up, but it is a special occasion book and hopefully should not receive too much abuse.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2015Very cute Christmas book for dinosaur enthusiast!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2010Ollie, Molly, Milo, and their parents enjoy holiday spirit with a kind, generous, and positive message throughout. (The dinodeer even stop at traffic lights!) The same cannot be said for many popular books, such as Olivia Helps with Christmas (Olivia Series).
Santasaurus has become part of our nonreligious XMAS tradition, along with other traditional classics. I think this book is brilliant for ages 3 to 5. Time will tell if it maintains the kids' interest past that.
Irish author-illustrator Niamh Sharkey (whose first name is pronounced the same as Neve Campbell) is not well known outside Britain, although you may be familiar with The Ravenous Beast.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 11, 2006We took this book our of the Library and my 2.5 year old son loves it. The story and wording are fun to read and listen to. The illistrations are fun and colorful.
I highly recommend it as a Christmas story for your collection.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2017My 2 year old LOVES dinosaurs so I bought this book to add to our Christmas collection. He kept asking for a different book. Maybe better for an older crowd.
