- Reviewed in the United States on May 6, 2023Marc Brown knows how to reach young readers. The kindergarteners in my granddaughter's class loved this book as all of them could relate to having a loose or missing baby tooth. After reading it to the entire class, the book was donated to the classroom library so all could enjoy again!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2014I've loved the Artur book series since I was a child and I love sharing my old favorites with my daughter, including this one. What I love about the Arthur series is that they are so relateable to kids and teach an important lesson in each one. In Arthur's Tooth, Arthur is the last one in his class to lose a tooth and he's embarrassed as other kids make fun of him, so he tries everything he can, like eating tough foods and tying a string to his tooth and closing the door. Nothing works, but an accident on the playground helps him in that regard.
What I love about this story is the message behind it: that we are all different and changes happen in our bodies, including teeth at different times and that's ok because it's part of what makes you unique. This is a nicely illustrated book as well and highly recommended, especially for kids who are at the age of losing teeth!

- Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2016Perfect for a five year old granddaughter who was shy about revealing the space between her teeth, and learning the disadvantages of waiting and waiting for that first tooth to come out.

3.0 out of 5 stars Arthurs Tooth
Guys I kinda like this book. It looked lovely. It was about however Arthur who has a tooth and he is sad because Francine said he was a BABY!
But will his tooth fall out? But in the end Arthur lost his baby teeth and Francine said sorry and Arthur was glad his tooth was gone.
Thanks for reading!
