This is a wonderful story of Christmas with heartwarming illustrations by an Iowa artist/mother with some interesting facts about Iowa at the end of the book. I bought the book for our grandsons and granddaughters even though two of the grandsons are past the age this is written for. they enjoyed it nonetheless. Their parents too! I bought one about their grandfather's state too, but Iowa's is much better, imo. :-)
