About the Author
Becky Hall is an elementary school teacher who lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her husband and two children. She is an active member of her local library/media association and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. She loves children's bookstores and regularly attends writing workshops. In her free time, Becky hikes in the mountains of Utah with her dogs.
In addition to being an artist, Katherine Larson is also a diva, with extensive experience and recognition as an opera singer. She trained for more than two years in Italy and continues to do local performances and often incorporates music and singing in her school presentations. Katherine lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

About the authors
Becky Hall grew up in Grafton, Massachusetts. After getting married, she moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where she has been a teacher for many years. Now she is a school librarian and writes books for kids. She published A is for Arches which was a finalist for the Beehive Book Awards. Her next book was Morris and Buddy, the Story of the First Seeing Eye Dog. She has a third book under contract and has recently completed a young adult novel. Several more novels are in process. Check back for more books from Becky in the future!
As an author, business owner, children's book illustrator, fine artist and classical singer, several publications have done feature articles about Katherine Larson's life and work. Her murals and commissioned paintings can be found around the globe from Florence, Italy, to museums and landmark locations in the U.S. As a classical singer, she has won many national and international awards and appeared as a guest soloist with well known orchestras and opera companies. Katherine has illustrated ten nationally distributed children's books, including the award winning "G is for Grand Canyon" published by Sleeping Bear Press.
Katherine spent most of her life in the midwest in Ann Arbor, Michigan and recently moved to the Treasure Coast of Florida where she is continuing her career as a painter, graphic designer and author.
A book about her life as an illustrator for the Ann Arbor Observer Magazine is entitled: "Ann Arbor Observed, The Stories Behind the Ann Arbor Observer Covers" features 22 years of cover illustrations from the Ann Arbor Observer magazine with descriptions about their creation and events surrounding them.
