Scooby-Doo is a wonderful character that has been around for more than one generation. He is not only a dog but he is also the best friend to the local crime fighters. This team of 'teenagers' travel from town to town looking for clues to unmask the dangerous monsters that lurk every where and to shine a light on their criminal deeds.

"Scooby-Doo and the Dinosaur Ghost" is a thrilling tale about a dinosaur dig with some missing bones. Now we all know that dinosaurs became extinct many years ago; however, in this story a fossil has been discovered and then just a quickly 'stolen' and unable to be retrieved. Can the unfailing nose of Scooby-Doo sniff out this mystery? Will he be able to find the missing bones and the missing Scooby Snacks?

I typically, as a parent, do not allow my children to watch or read shows about monsters and ghouls; however, when it comes to Scooby-Doo I tend to let up in this rule because of the fact that it shows that monsters are only men in masks. I believe that this is important because children should always see that evil, creepy characters can always be traced back to a crazy man in a mask.
