New York Times Bestselling Author! The world of Minecraft comes to life in this thrilling original adventure!

Gameknight999 was sucked into the world of Minecraft when one of his father’s inventions went haywire. Trapped inside the game, the former griefer learned the error of his ways. He transformed into a heroic warrior and defeated powerful endermen, ghasts, and dragons to save the world of Minecraft and his NPC friends that live in it.

Gameknight swore that he’d never go inside Minecraft again. But when his little sister, Monet113, accidentally enters the game herself, the User-that-is-not-a-user has no choice but to return to a digital world where very real danger lies around every corner. With the help of some old friends such as Crafter, Hunter, and Stitcher, as well as a few unexpected new ones, Gameknight will journey deep into a zombie village and face Xa-Tul, the powerful zombie king crafted by a shadowy figure with bright glowing eyes and a hatred for Gameknight999.

To save his sister, Gameknight will have to learn a few new tricks if he has any chance of defeating this monstrous creature.

New York Times bestselling author Mark Cheverton grew up in Southern California, going through high school and college. After college, Mark taught high school Physics and Math for many years. While teaching, he earned a Master's degree in Physics and conducted research on planetary atmospherics. After moving to the east coast, he started doing research for a Fortune 100 company in the fields of machine vision and additive manufacturing.

While working as a researcher, he self-published his first MINECRAFT-inspired novel, "Invasion of the Overworld," in 2013, a novel also inspired by his son. He didn't really expect the book to be significant, but when it reached #29 on Amazon's Top 100, the publishers started calling; Mark knew he'd struck a nerve with kids.

After 10 years, Mark has written 26 novels, many of which appearing on the New York Times, USA Today, and Publisher's Weekly bestsellers lists. They've been published in 31 countries, translated into 27 languages, and over 2 million copies have been sold worldwide.

Currently, Mark is working on a middle-grade fantasy series called The Order of the Stones series. Book 1, "Facing the Beast Within," will be published in September 2023, with Book 2, "Cameron and the Shadow-wraiths," being released in 2024.

This book was awesome it was a little all over the place, like a few of the parts confused me a couple of times. But over all it was awesome. I liked how Mark made GameKnights's sister get pulled into minecraft, it was a very good twist in this series. I've read all of the books from this series and so far it has been AWESOME... I CAN'T WAIT till the next book. I LOVE your books Mark. Be sure to make the next book just as good as the first. Love GameGirl999!!!

Wonderful Books for Young Readers who Love MineCraft

Both of my kids (7-year-old girl and 9-year-old boy) are reading the unofficial MineCraft books, and they adore these stories. My son is so enthusiastic that he will describe them to me chapter by chapter as he works his way through each adventure. Both of my kids love to recreate scenes from these books with their crayons, and my son is so inspired that he's been writing his own MineCraft novelettes.

This book, like the other series, was amazing. It kept elements from the old series but put in new and exciting aspects as well. However, I had a problem with the overuse of "puzzle pieces clicking into place" and " the puzzle pieces tumbled around in his mind". It said that about twice a chapter. Way too much. Other than that, a great book.

I got this book for my grandson, who finally learned to read after spending a summer with his grandma. He read it in 2 days, so i'm assuming he enjoyed it, and is turning into quiet a book worm. We'll be getting more of the series as they become available.
