I'm scrolling..searching for rugby books for children...and I come across this book. I think "awesome!" and then realize it's a FOOTBALL on the front cover. Not a rugby ball. Yes, it's a big deal. If the author doesn't know the difference between the two, they should probably spend an extra 5 minutes on Google to research the topic. For this reason, I'm going to pass on this book and find a proper book.

The absolute joy of listening to our 8 year old laughing out loud as he read this book. He actually asked to go to bed early to read this book. Have now bought the others in the series for him. It is hard to find something for boys to read at this age because they find it a chore but this hit the nail on the head.

A funny book. A quick read with my 8 year old. As the book cover indicated, the boy in the story is a bit useless at sport /rugby. I bought it for my rugby-mad boy, he loved it for the funny situations and of course there is a nice "moral of the story".
